Paul H. Padget, 72, of Springfield, IL passed away at St. John's Hospital on February 22, 2022.

Paul was born in Springfield, IL on August 14, 1949 the son of Ebert and Mary Lou (Pettitt) Padget.

Paul graduated from Southeast High School on June 6, 1968 and went on to join the United States Navy. He joined the Navy on November 18, 1968 and was honorably discharged on October 12, 1971.

Over the years, Paul worked for Bemco Mattress, Staab Battery, and retired from IGOR Watchdog Corp. Paul loved riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He also enjoyed billiards, volleyball, horseshoes and drinking cold Busch Beer. Paul was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Ned Padget; brother, Tim Padget; and nephew, Adam Padget. Paul is survived by his son, Wayne Padget; stepson, Robert Frank Schrock; sister, Joyce Norman; sister, Sheila Gabriel; brother, David Padget; as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Cremation services were accorded. His Ashes will be inurned in the columbarium wall at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Military Honors will be held for Paul on Friday March 4, 2022 at Camp Butler National Cemetery at 2:00pm.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Endres Tavern, 1047 East Stanford Avenue Springfield, IL 62703 at 4:00pm.
