Patrick Charles Casper, 64, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Patrick was born on March 17, 1957, in Springfield, the son of Joseph and Lucille (Flicker) Casper. He married Mary Anne McCann on April 18, 1980. Patrick worked for District 186 at Jane Addams Elementary School for 25 years, everyone there knew and loved him as Mr. Casper. He enjoyed fishing, camping, dog training, dog shows, riding horses and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Victoria Casper; and brother, Michael Casper.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; daughters Shannon (Calvin) McKinney, Mary Kate (Kyle) Churchill and Hannah Casper; grandchildren, Max Lee, Mina and Kamile McKinney; sister, Marcy Swaggerty;  niece, Dawn (Brian) Tacker and family; nephews, Michael and Mark Swaggerty.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday February 25, 2022, at 4:30PM at the Prop Club, 264 Maple Grove Lane, Springfield, IL. 62712
