Patricia J. Dennison, 95, of Dawson, Il. Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025 at her residence. Pat was born in Springfield, IL. on January 9, 1930 and was the daughter of Karl and Artie (Easley) Gowin. Pat married her husband Robert F. Dennison on February 4, 1949 and they were married for 74 years.

She is survived by her children Robert L. Dennison (Pamela) and Gail L. Garrett (Steven). Grandchildren, Tara L. Gentile, Robert J. Dennison (Nicole), Loralee Donnelly, and Jennifer M. Dennison. Great grandchildren, Cayden, Kristen, Jack, and Paige, brother Edward Gowin.

Pat was a Christian woman. Pat grew up on a small farm learning to work at an early age. Being the oldest of five children, she had many chores.

She loved riding horses and met Bob while both were on horseback hearding cattle. Pats love of animals continued into her adult life, as she had many Pomeranian dogs. Bob and Pat also loved camping and fishing and had a trailer at Lake Jacksonville for many years. During Pats last few years she lived with her son and daughter in law.

Pat dearly loved her family and she will be greatly missed.
