Obituary

Norma Nadine Locker, 88, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at her residence.

Norma was born on April 24, 1929 in Springfield the daughter of Julius Lee and Anna Seward Adkinson.  She married Elmer F. "Pete" Locker on November 11, 1949; he preceded her in death on August 5, 2004.

She worked for John W. Hobbs, formerly Stewart-Warner, retiring in 1991 after 40 years.  She was co-owner with her husband at Pete's Live Bait Shop for 50 years.  Her family will always remember her as an exceptional and loving mom and grandma.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Betty Mackey, Millie Reynolds and Elsie Adkinson; and one brother, Chester Adkinson.

She is survived by three daughters, Sue Ann Daugherty of Springfield, Patricia Ann (Terry) Johnson of Springfield and Norma Kay Raymond of Springfield; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Hanson officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
