Nicholas J. Charles, 36, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Nick was a handsome son, hilarious brother and father.  Nick was deeply loved for his sweet spirit and his kind, gentle heart.  His boys consumed his heart completely, they were everything to him.  Nick loved his mom dearly.  He was her friend, protector and now her angel.  Despite his challenges with addiction he was an awesome amazing man.  He loved to fish, mushroom hunt, and walking in the woods especially with his black lab, Happy.  Nick will be greatly missed for his friendship, smiles, fun-loving soul and especially his courage.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Deborah Charles; sister, Kelly (Travis Turnbull) Charles; adored sons, Michael Wyatt and Jase Hunter Charles; and nephews, Blake and Trevor.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.
