Nancy Mae Blakeman Seiber, 79, of Riverton, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.
Nancy was born on May 7, 1936 in Springfield the daughter of George and Viola Collard Jacaway. She married Donald Seiber on June 19, 1974; he also preceded her in death on April 20, 2000.
She worked for Franklin Life and later her and her husband Don owned and operated G&G Enterprises selling motorcycle leather clothing and goods. She was a member of South Tower Community Church in Dawson. She was also a member of A.B.A.T.E. and a supporter of the Riverton Harley Riders. She enjoyed riding her Harley, and working in her flower garden where she had a collection of ornamental frogs and bird houses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved her dog Mini Man and sewing.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ernest Jacaway and her ex-husband, Delmar Blakeman.
She is survived by five children, Cheryl (Jim) Triplett of Decatur, Kevin (Pam) and Jerry (Tammy) Blakeman both of Springfield, Joy (Charlie) Tansky of Dawson, and Brett (Theresa) Seiber of Dawson; one stepdaughter, Crystal (George) Seiber of Springfield; one sister, Sheila Albright of Springfield; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Schmisseur of Florida and Jean Jacaway of Sherman; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at South Tower Community Church in Dawson. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the church with Pastor Charlie Carver officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
