Mitzi Jean Drake, 61, of Illiopolis, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Life's Journey Senior Living in Taylorville.

Mitzi was born on December 31, 1954 in Beardstown, the daughter of Jerry and Rosalie Stumper Ramsey.

Mitzie worked for Franklin Life before becoming a sales representative at Macy's.  She was a member of Illiopolis Christian Church.  She enjoyed reading shopping and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents.

She is survived by daughter, Samantha (companion, Justin) Flowers of Springfield; father, Jerry Ramsey of Springfield; three sisters, Cindy Blair of Decatur, Tammy (Dennis) Campbell of Illiopolis and Angela (Rich) Goodman of St. Charles, MO; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Fullenwider-Park funeral home in Illiopolis.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Illiopolis Christian Church with Reverend Tina Miller officiating.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Illiopolis.
