Michelle McEvoy, 54, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center.

Michelle was born in Olney, IL on September 12, 1963 the daughter of Gary and Sheryl Miller.  She was baptized in Christ at Albion Baptist Church. She married Tom McEvoy on July 29, 1983 in Springfield.

She loved Christmas, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She influenced many children by cooking for the Springfield school district, and even was honored with an award for the positive effect she had on the children.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Kim; sons, Matt and Thomas (Crystal); sister, Jennifer Dunn; brother, Rodney Miller; grandchildren, Jacob, Aiden, Brooklyn, Olivia, Brayden; special aunt, Linda Hewitt, and several other aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Clint Cook officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Michelle McEvoy to help with medical expenses.
