Michele Louise (Haworth) Credit, 62, of Springfield, IL passed away on Tuesday March 2, 2021 in Auburn, IL.

Michele was born in Keokuk, Iowa on December 9, 1958 the daughter of Robert L and Mary Ann (Beaird) Haworth.

She graduated from Franklin High School in 1978 and went on to start a family and a career. She had 2 children, Billy and Angela Credit.

Michele held many jobs over the years and had a great fondness for the many co-workers and customers she met throughout her career. She loved to laugh and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She had a fondness for animals, especially dogs. Michele was a bargain shopper and a great gift giver. She also loved leather purses and Indian jewelry. She was a fantastic cook and could keep her house plants alive forever. Michele had a special place in her heart for Winnie the Pooh and especially Eeyore.

Michele was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Anakin Dwayne Credit; and 3 brothers, Gerald Francis Haworth, Robert Louis Haworth Jr., and William Wayne Haworth.

She is survived by her children, Billy Credit and Angela Credit; grandson, Quinn Gentry-Moore; granddaughter, Kelsey Allison-Moore; grandson, William "Chance" Garrett; granddaughter, Hayley Jane Credit; her sisters, Cathy Howland of Springfield and Carla Melton of Springfield; and brother Tim Haworth of Atwater.
