Michael J Kelly Sr., 77, of Petersburg, IL died on March 1, 2024.

He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on June 10, 1947 to Rosemary Coe and Albert Kelly.

Michael loved to collect artwork, spending time with his family, meeting new people and sharing life experiences. He also loved fishing and hunting. Michael served in the U.S. Navy, traveled the country delivering RVs and worked at the U.S. Post Office. Michael was a man of Christian Faith and enjoyed studying the Bible.

Michael is survived by his children Michelle (Kyle) Davis, Michael Kelly Jr., Sarah Wilk, Elizabeth Kelly; grandchildren, Hallie (Sam) Forgerson, Joshua Davis, Alex (Aileana) Kelly, Kaden Kelly, Emmalee Kelly, Hannah Vogel (significant other Chandler Lynch), Tyler Vogel, Jacob Vogel, Allison Vogel, Lillian Dial; 3 great grandchildren Troy and Ginnie Forgerson, and Emery Lynch.

Cremation services are being accorded and a Celebration of Life is being held by the family.
