Michael Anthony Goldsberry 37  was born in Aurora Illinois on December 13th 1982 .  His parents are Benita Erwin Goldsberry and Troy Petitt,  and Donald Goldsberry Jr.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Barbara Horsley Erwin Parrish and his paternal uncle Jody Goldsberry  and his beloved Doberman number 9 . He is survived by his son Brandon Goldsberry 15  his parents,  Grandparents Rob and Elanor Goldsberry Robb  grandfather Donald Goldsberry Sr.and Debra, his sisters, Chenel Petitt and daughter Brandy,Taylor Petitt and daughters Jatayah, Tayonah and Cetayah (peanut), Trista Petitt and sons Mason and Gabe, and his youngest sister Kathryn Petitt (Katie bug).  Several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Michael loved everything and lived his whole life in excess. If he did something he did it all the way. He loved basketball and baseball, outdoors, fishing camping, animals, he loved playing cards and games and with his animals. He loved anything active and usually had the broken bones to prove it. He loved spending time with his son Brandon and all the children, Michael just loved life  people, places and his family and friends. The smile that lit up a room will be etched in our hearts forever. Michael's services will be held Thursday August 27th at Ellinger, Kunz & Park Funeral Home 530 n. 5th street, Springfield, Il. Visitation at 4 p.m. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Officiated by Calvin Miller. Immediately following we will be serving dinner and conversation at Grandview municipal building 2377 E. Reservoir in Springfield Illinois.
