Matthew Lee Dennison

MECHANICSBURG - Matthew Lee Dennison, 25, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on March 24, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

Matthew was born September 12, 1987, in Springfield, the son of Gregory and Sophie Dennison.

Matthew enlisted in the US Air Force in 2007. He was a Staff Sergeant and was currently stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, AZ. He was an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Journeyman in the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron.

His daughter, Lily, was the joy of his life. He enjoyed his time with her most of all. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irene and Joseph Uhrin, and two uncles.

He is survived by his daughter, Lily Dennison of Phoenix, AZ; his parents, Gregory and Sophie Dennison of Decatur; two brothers, Wesley (Holly) Dennison of Ft. Richardson, AK, and Steven (Katie) Dennison of Melbourne, FL; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the funeral home with Reverend Chris McAfee officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery with full military honors.
