Mary Jayne Turner, 86 of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Jayne was born on May 16, 1937 in Vandalia, IL. the daughter of Hiram and Goldie (Kirkman) Miller. She married David Elles Turner and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2014.

She enjoyed camping and traveling.

She is survived by preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Hiram Miller, Jr., and grandson Joshua Schleyhahn.

Jayne is survived by her three daughters, Mary Ann Schleyhahn, Dana Spencer and Lisa (Jeff) Johnson; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and sister, Elaine Hellweg, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 5:00-7:00PM at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester. Graveside services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, on Tuesday at 10:00AM.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rochester Christian Church on Sunday, May 19, from 1:00-3:00PM.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
