Mary Jane Knight, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Heritage Health Nursing Home.

Mary was born on June 16, 1941 in Meredosia, IL the daughter of Henry and Freda Floyd Dickman.  She married Jack Knight; he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Club at Supportive Living.  She enjoyed talking with people and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.

She is survived by one son, Melvin (Maryann) Richards of Springfield; two daughters, Susan (Rodney) Wilson of Beardstown and Dareama (Jerry) Overby of Springfield; grandchildren, Ashley and Mindy Richards, Shawna Tune, Jackie Bunting, Aaron and Alaina Overby, Courtney Weller and Sean Wilson; siblings, Betty Powell, Sharon Garvin, Henry "Bud", Bill and Doug Dickman and Lana Sue Barton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Hanson officiating.  Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Adams Gordon Cemetery in Moweaqua.
