Mary Beth (Adams) Jensen passed away at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL on April 1, 2023. Mary was born in Springfield, IL on June 30, 1945 to parents Thelma (McMurray) and James Adams. She is survived by her husband Norman, son Craig, and daughter Tracey and numerous nieces and nephews. Her brothers James, Kenneth, and William preceded her in death.

She graduated from Lanphier High School in Springfield in 1963 and devoted the first chapter in her adult life to raising her children. When Mary and the family moved to Florida in 1984, she and Norman opened an independent insurance and financial services agency, where she developed a large client base and was extremely successful. Upon returning to Illinois in 1995 for health reasons, Mary enjoyed being a homemaker (especially baking cookies for her friends), doing genealogical research and becoming a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and spending time caring for her precious pets.

Mary will never be forgotten by those who really knew her and loved her.
