Mary A. Harris, 77, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. John's Hospital.

Mary was born in Springfield on February 18, 1942 the daughter of Claude and Ann Marie (Takacs) Goldsberry.  She married Ernest Harris Jr.; he preceded her in death.

She had a special place in her heart for all animals, but she also enjoyed gardening and crafts. Mary loved her family above all else.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angel; twin infant sons; step-son, Ernest; grandson, Kenny; and a brother, Jerry.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Harris and Carmen (husband, Pat) Flynn; son, Tony (significant other, Lori); son-in-law, Kenny Bounds; brothers, John (wife, Edie), James (wife, Shirley), and William (wife, Linda); sister, Ann (husband, Duane) Moreland; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Mann officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
