SPRINGFIELD, IL - Mary A. Baughman, 97, of Springfield, died on Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. John's Hospital.

Mary was born on April 14, 1918 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Charles and Lillis Rideout Phillips. She married Harold R. Baughman on October 15, 1949 in Tuscola; he preceded her in death on September 8, 1977.

She attended Newton Community High School and Beauty College. She was a member of Laurel United Methodist Church and the Springfield Garden Club for over 40 years.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Kent Lolling officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Garden Club.
