Mary M. Asbury, 67, of Pleasant Plains, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends.

Mary was born on December 19, 1950 the daughter of Henry and Margaret Knoles Wahl. She married Rodney Asbury on June 22, 1968.

Mary enjoyed going to car shows, Flea Markets and garage sales. She loved to celebrate Halloween by dressing up and going to events. Mary also loved Christmas and had an extensive collection of Santas.

He is survived by her husband, Rodney; one daughter, Stacey (Jeff) Addicott of Pleasant Plains; three grandchildren, Alexis, Makayla, and Josie; three sisters, Eleanor, Dana, and Nora; one brother, Daniel; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Grace; and one brother, Henry.

Visitation will be from 3-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home in Springfield. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Paul Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery.
