Martha E. Ketchum, 83, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025 surrounded by family.

She was born on April 18, 1942 in Springfield Illinois to Paul and Daisy (Applegate) Miller.

She was a graduate of Lanphier High School and Lincoln Land Community Collage with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She worked at St John's hospital in surgery until moving to the Community Mental Health Center finally she worked at McFarland Mental Health before retiring.

Martha enjoyed quilting, making many beautiful and custom quilts for her family and friends, but she always said she missed her true calling of interior design.

Martha is survived by her husband Larry Ketchum Sr of Rochester, son Larry Ketchum Jr of Farmersville, daughter Karla Ketchum of Rochester; three granddaughters Jordyn Ketchum of Austin Texas, Emily Ketchum of Rochester and Cydnee (Andrew) Colvin of Randolph Air Force Base Texas; two sisters Mary (Dan) Deatherage of Sherman and Virginia Cody of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Martha is preceded in death by her father Paul Miller, mother Daisy (Miller) Dawson, sisters Joyce Rhodes, Paula Perko, Gladys Koonce and brother Richard Miller.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00AM at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester. Pastor David Johnson will officiate with burial following at Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Mechanicsburg. Casual attire is requested.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
