Mark Zeidler, 57, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at St. John's Hospital.

Mark was born on February 14, 1960 in Springfield, the son of Paul and Viola Vick Zeidler Sr.  He married Connie Friedman on July 28, 1982 in Springfield.

He had various jobs doing maintenance.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren, was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed paint ball, racing, going to concerts with the kids, but most of all his dog, Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Zeidler of Springfield; son, Erik Zeidler of Springfield; daughters, Sara (John) Freligh and Ami (Joel) Hall both of Springfield; four grandchildren, Izick, Evan, Sophia and La-Angel; and brother, Paul Zeidler of Springfield.

Cremation will be accorded.  Services will be at a later date.
