SPRINGFIELD, IL - Mark E. Riley, 67, of Springfield, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Heritage Health.

The son of Emmett and Kathleen Miller Riley, Mark was born May 21, 1948, in Decatur.

He graduated from Griffin High School in 1967, and served in the National Guard. Mark played guitar with many rock and blues musicians and bands, including the Sting Rays, the Impacts, also The Shags from Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Riley.

Mark is survived by one sister, Sharon Enos of Two Rivers, Wis., and two nieces, Nissa and Thea Enos.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of Mark's celebration of life at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Salisbury Cemetery at a later date.
