Mark Wayne Higgins, 60, of Taylorville, IL passed away in Springfield on April 27, 2022 in the company of his family.

Mark was born in Springfield on October 13, 1961 the son of Robert and Carol (Richards) Higgins.

He married Brenda Speagle on May 16, 1998. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his family, but his granddaughters were his whole world.

Mark worked for ADM for 20 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.

Mark is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Courtney Masters; grandchildren, Amelia, and Quinn Masters; his father, Robert; sister, Penny (Glen) Amos; and his nieces, Ashleigh (Jake) Green and Kayla (Kris) Willings.

A visitation will be held on Monday May 2, 2022 a Wilson Park Funeral Home in Edinburg, IL from 4:00pm till 7:00pm.
