Mark W. Gill, 58, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village after a short illness.

Mark was born on December 14, 1958 in Springfield the son of Harry and Maxine Bennett Gill Sr.

He was a laborer in the construction industry. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, watching wrestling, listening to music, mushroom hunting and was an Oakland Raider's fan.  He was friendly, helpful, easy going and fun-loving.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, William "Willie" Gill; and two sisters, Mary Gullo and Jeannie Gullo.

He is survived by his mother Maxine Gill of Auburn; two brothers, Harry (Rita) Gill of Springfield and John Gullo of Las Vegas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation will be accorded.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Cana Roth officiating.
