IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marjorie Ellen
Rogers
January 11, 1930 – March 1, 2026
Visitation
Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home
12:00 - 1:00 pm (Central time)
Marjorie Ellen Rogers, lovingly known to many as “Marge,” passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the age of 96. She was born Marjorie Green on January 11, 1930, to Henry E. Green and Vietta Mariah Green, who preceded her in death.
Marjorie grew up alongside her older brother, Sam, and older sister, Dorothy, and her younger brother, Wayne. The values of family, hard work, and faith that shaped her early life remained the foundation of who she was throughout her 96 years.
She married the love of her life, Robert “Ray” Rogers, and together they built a beautiful life over 57 years of marriage. Their partnership was marked by commitment, laughter and resilience. Ray preceded her in death and we take comfort in imagining their joyful reunion.
Marjorie dedicated 33½ years of her professional life to Memorial Medical Center, where she worked faithfully in the Labor and Delivery Department. She was present at the very beginning of countless lives, offering calm reassurance, skilled hands, and a compassionate heart to mothers and babies alike. She carried the stories of the families she served with pride and humility.
Above all, Marjorie’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She and Ray were blessed with nine children. She was preceded in death by her sons Tom, Bob, John, Don, and Marty, and her son-in-law Steven.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Barbara; Deborah; daughter-in-law Jill Morgan (Bob); Marla (Ed); Rick (Jackie); and Rod (Colleen). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jimmy; Jason (Amanda); Kharma (Lathel); Katie (Aaron); Angie; Michael (Jennifer); Joe; Candi (Nick); Mary (Brad); Troy (Julie); Kristi; Brad (Ashlie); Jenni; Eric; Jaimi (Stuart); Gale (Chuck); Ray; Aaron (Emily); Madeline (Ty); and Teddy. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews who brought her much pride and joy.
Visitation will be held at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home, 200 S. Church St. Mechanicsburg, IL 62545 on Saturday March 7, 2026 from 12:00PM till the time of the funeral service at 1:00PM.
