Marilou Flexter

DAWSON- Marilou Flexter, 72, of Dawson, passed away on April 3, 2013 at St. John's Hospice.

Marilou was born on October 8, 1940 in Lincoln the daughter of William and Dorothy McMann Doty. She married Charles Flexter on April 1, 1960 in Dawson.

She was a Tri-City school bus driver for over 35 years and the Transportation Director. She also worked with her husband and ran the office for Char-Lynn Trucking Company. She was a member of Fountain of Life Church in Bufffalo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard Doty.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; one son, Rian (Toni) Flexter of Illiopolis ; one daughter, Charlisa (Jim) Woodward of Dawson, one sister, Phyllis Freeman of Dawson; four granddaughters; three great granddaughters; and two step granddaughters.

Visitation will be 2-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the funeral home with Reverend Bob Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
