Marie Szoke, 100, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, March 23 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

Marie was born on June 20, 1916 in Cass County the daughter of John and Bertha Vaughn Taapken.

She is survived by one niece, Mary B. Reese; two nephews, Frank W. Burton and Jim Taapken; and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Cremation was accorded.  Services are private.
