Margaret Grace Loyd, 90, formerly of Springfield, IL passed away on January 22, 2025. Margaret was born in Woodlawn, IL on July 20, 1934 the daughter of Roy and Anna (Williams) Ferguson.

She married Donald Eugene Loyd on January 3, 1953 in Mt. Vernon, IL. Donald preceded her in death. Margaret was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Samuel Loyd; brothers, Robert, John Henry, Ralph, Leroy, Gene, Jerry, and Omer; and sisters, Dorothy, Delores, Norma, Velda.

Margaret is survived by her son, David Loyd; daughter, Linda Morris (John); Debra Loyd; daughter, Anita Marquis (Wayne); son, Danny Loyd (Kim); daughter, Marilyn McCubbin (Dave); daughter, Carolyn Messmore (Dave); brother, Harold Ferguson; 18 grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren; and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.

Cremation services are being accorded and a private family service is being held
