Lorraine A. Emmons

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Lorraine A. Emmons, 71, of Springfield, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center.

Lorraine was born March 23, 1944, in Springfield, the daughter of Lawrence and Ann Trello Maher Sr. She married John Emmons on Sept. 21, 1970, in St. Louis; he preceded her in death in 2005.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

She is survived by twin brother, Lawrence J. Maher Jr. of Springfield; two sisters, Sharon A. Jackson and Patricia A. (Don) Kmett both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was accorded by Springfield Crematory.

Private graveside services will be held.
