Linda (Richardson) Novak, 78, of Glenarm, Illinois, passed away with family beside her on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Linda was born at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL on August 18, 1947, and was the daughter of Robert Eugene and Alma Ruth (Wilson) Richardson.

Linda was married to Larry Novak, who survives her. She is also survived by her children; Dan Gatschenberger (Melanie) of Dawsonville, GA, and Cherity Jo Smith (Rick) of Divernon, grandchildren; Brian Gatschenberger, Devin Smith, Stacey Garoutte, and Daniel Smith; one great-grandchild Emia Garoutte; siblings; Chip Richardson (Kathy) of Dawson, Jim Richardson of Springfield, Clyde Richardson (Vicki) of Southern View, Richard Richardson (Marlene) of Chatham and David Richardson (Jolynn) of Taylorville; and many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Ronald Richardson (2016) and Steven Richardson (2023), and her sister, Beverly Treat (2020).

Linda enjoyed her flower garden, watching the hummingbirds, antiquing, and an avid collector of cookie jars, string holders and pie birds.

A celebration of life will be announced by the family.

Cremation services are being accorded.
