EDINBURG, IL - Linda Sue Mitchell, 75, of Edinburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at Villa Health Care in Sherman, Ill.

Linda was born Sept. 3, 1939, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of Melvin and Hazel Fern Young Peel. She married James Allen Mitchell; he preceded her in death in 2002.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Wayne.

She is survived by one son, Jim (Karen) Mitchell; three grandsons: Allen, Ryan and Andrew; one great-granddaughter, Morgan; and one great-grandson, Lincoln.

Cremation was accorded by Springfield Crematory and services were held.

The family would like to thank all of her friends for putting up with her idiosynchrosises.
