Linda M. Wilson, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at The Mosaic.

Linda was born on June 8, 1951 in Springfield the daughter of Wayne and Alma Chambers Wilson.

Linda was a long-time hairdresser in the Springfield area and a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening, decorating and being a host to her family and friends.  Linda was an avid sports fan and liked watching NASCAR.  She also loved her Pekinese.

She is survived by two sisters, Kathy Brand and Sharon Dillon both of Springfield; two nephews, Justin Brand and Luke Boros; one niece, Chris Anderson; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Cremation will be accorded.  There will be a small gathering for close family and friends at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at West Cotton Hill Park on Lake Springfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
