Linda S. Anders, 61, of Springfield, IL passed away at Memorial Medical Center on Saturday November 28, 2020.

She was born in Springfield on April 4, 1959 the daughter of John A. and Lily (McKee) Avart.

Linda was very fond of her garden and animals. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She was especially active in her church, Elm St. Christian Church here in Springfield.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister, Judith Griffitts.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Anders; her children, William Lowe (partner, Ashley Bruley) of Springfield, Dawn Lowe of Springfield, Chastity Sharp of Springfield, and Christopher Sharp of Springfield; brother, John "Jackie" Avart; grandchildren, Danielle, Emily, Lauren, William III, Elizabeth, Lucas, Cadence, Kaylee, and Brianna; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Carter, and Delainie.

Cremation services are being accorded by Elllinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
