Lillian "Lil" Killian, of Girard passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard.

Lil was born on May 9, 1928 in New Prague, Minnesota.  She was the daughter of John and Ludmila (Kraml) Pilny.  She married Joseph "Joe" Killian in 1951; he preceded her in death in 1995.

Lil grew up in Chicago, IL.  She retired from Frigidaire Corp. in 1984. Lil and Joe moved to Sunset Lake in Girard and were the owners of L & J Creations.

She is survived by her daughter, Janis (Kenneth) Boyd of Lake Suzy, FL; and one grandson, Kristopher Boyd of O'Fallon, IL.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated, with a private burial at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
