Leona M. (Koechle) Fisher, 94, of Springfield IL, passed away at her home on Sunday October 13, 2019 while in the company of her family.

Leona was born in Nauvoo IL, on September 4, 1925 the daughter of Ollie and Genevieve (Wysinger) Koechle.

Leona had a wonderful life and enjoyed watching the birds through her window and cooking. She also loved her flower garden, but especially loved taking care of her family.

She was widowed, when her husband James R. Fisher, who passed away in January of 2009.

She is preceded in death also by her parents.

Leona is survived by her children James O. Fisher and Gloria M. Fisher, both of Springfield IL.

There will be a private celebration of life held by the family at a later date.
