Lee A. Spurgeon, 82, of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home.

Lee was born on October 26, 1939, in Rochester, the son of Vernon and Mabel (Wright) Spurgeon. He married Janet Leach on January 25, 1963 and they shared 59 years together.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; son, Keith Lee Spurgeon; grandchildren, Kimberly & Ryan Spurgeon; sisters, Verna Sparkman and Alice Roseberry and nieces and nephews.

Per Lee's wishes cremation will be accorded and no visitation or funeral will be held. A small graveside service will be scheduled at a later date at Rochester Cemetery.
