Larry L. Young, 70, of Dawson, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL. Larry was born on March 4, 1953, in Springfield, the son of Kenneth R. and Juanita L. (Taylor) Young. He married Mary Beth Klor on November 20, 1971 and she survives. Larry worked for Prairie Wholesale up until his retirement. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Illinois Big Bucks and Pope & Young Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jeremy Young.

Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Beth; two sons, Jason (Beth) and Josh (Andrea) Young; three grandchildren, Korey, Kingsley and Olivia Young; one sister, Cheryl Atkins; one brother Raymon Young as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Buffalo Hart Presbyterian Chruch.
