Kenneth Owen Taylor, 92, of Rochester, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Rochester Estates Senior Living in Rochester, IL.

Ken was born on August 4, 1932, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Delbert and Julia (Owens) Taylor. He married Janet Lea Taylor on November 1, 1952 and she preceded him in death on November 11, 2023. Ken was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and a Leader for Boy Scout Troop 384. He enjoyed building different models, ranging from airplanes to boats.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one brother, Marion Taylor.

Ken is survived by his children, Claude and Dan Taylor, and Carolyn (Mike) Chaney; five grandchildren, Jessica and Matt (Kristina) Chaney, Ian Taylor, Rebecca Chaney and Joe Taylor; three great grandchildren Cameron and Easton Chaney and Theo Lynch; one sister, Kathy Taylor and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was accorded by Wilson Park Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
