Kathleen "Tommy" Dickerson

ROCHESTER, IL - Kathleen "Tommy" Dickerson, 96, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at her home in Rochester.

Kathleen was born May 1, 1918, in Kentucky, the daughter of Jason and Viola Meadors. She married Kenneth Dickerson; he preceded her in death in 1960.

Kathleen worked for the Sangamon County Circuit Clerk in the probate office. She loved gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She was a lifelong member of Rochester Christian Church and a Republican Precinct Committeeman.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by three daughters: BJ (Jack) Fleischli of Rochester, MaryBeth (Bode) Zietz of Springfield and Deb (Bill) Russell of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Velma "Jackie" Dunn of Missouri; four grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at Rochester Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at the church with Pastor David Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
