Karen Lynne Mayhugh, 75, of Mt. Pulaski, IL passed away on March 24, 2026. Karen was born on January 4, 1951, to Raymond Harrison and Mildred Moore.

Karen loved to talk with friends and family, and she always had a story to tell. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and playing games. She was an extremely caring and loving person who found joy in being a mother and a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeremy Nudo; husband, Don Mayhugh; brother, Kem Harrison; and sister, Shirley Allen.

Karen is survived by her son Adam and daughter-in-law, Amy Nudo of Mt. Pulaski; son, David Nudo Jr. of Springfield; four grandchildren, Jolene Lawson, Elise Lawson, Isaac Nudo, and Audrey Nudo; sister, Pat Bell of Arkansas, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 2, 2026 at Fullenwider Park Funeral Home, 200 S Church St, Mechanicsburg, IL 62545 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Don.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
