Julie Marie Carlisle, 59, of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her home. Julie was born on September 18, 1962, in Monte Vista, Colorado, the daughter of John and Patricia (McCann) Carlisle. Julie loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the 4-H Dog Obedience training program. She enjoyed participating in Youth Conservation Corps at Lake Shelbyville, reading, gardening and loved Halloween.

She is preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and beloved dog, Darcy.

Julie is survived by her mother, Patricia Carlisle; siblings, Sue (Steve) Arnish, Lisa (Scott) Hanauer, Chris (Teri) Carlisle, and Mike (Michelle) Carlisle; 7 nieces, Sarah, Ashlie, Victoria, Rebecca, Anastasia, Kimberly, and Maria; one nephew, Michael

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, from 5:00-7:00PM at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, June 16, at Church of St. Jude 633 S. Walnut St. in Rochester with Reverend Father Charles Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective League.
