Juanita R. Beck, 86, of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Taylorville, IL.

She was born on August 26, 1937, in Decatur, the daughter of Raymond and Aileen (Kellogg) Martin. Juanita worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company first starting out as an operator and working her way up to an executive supervisor before retiring. She enjoyed golfing, chorus group singing, playing the keyboard, taking photos and traveled extensively throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Lois, Anna, and Georgia, and one brother, Xon Martin.

Juanita is survived by her son, Rick (Debbie) Beck; grandchildren, Andrew (Britni) Beck and Megan (Daniel) Nika; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Mark (Linda) Hammer as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral service at 11:30AM at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester.  Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery in Mt. Auburn, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective League or Rochester Fire & EMS.
