Joyce E. Williams, 78, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. John's Hospice.

Joyce, the daughter of Joy and B. Eunice Lawrence Ralston was born on May 18, 1938 in Canton, IL.  She married Charles "Chuck" Williams on August 26, 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter, Tammy Lewis.

Joyce was co-owner of Taco Trio in Springfield and ran an in home daycare for over 20 years.  She was a member of Hope Church where she coordinated the prayer line for 19 years.  She enjoyed playing the piano and loved spending time with family.  She was known as "Grammy" to all.

She is survived by son, Todd C. (Alexis) Williams of Pawnee; daughter, Wendy J. Wilde of Springfield; sister, Miriam Gustafson of Kewanee; grandchildren, Nicole Wilde, Tara Rolland, Adam Wilde, Stacy Baker, Dustin Williams and Amanda Wilde; six great-grandchildren; and best friend, Kathy Goeddey of Carrollton.

Visitation will be from 3-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Hope Church, 3000 Lenhart Rd. in Springfield, with Pastor Brian Mills officiating.  Coffee and donuts reception will follow services.  Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Salem Township Cemetery in Yates City, IL with Linnea Gustafson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Church Caring Fund.
