Obituary
Joyce June VanSice, 83, of Springfield passed away after a brief illness in the care of Traditions Hospice on August 14, 2024. Joyce was born in Springfield, Illinois on January 25, 1941. Her mother, Violet Cunningham VanSice, and father, Julian VanSice, preceded her in death.
Joyce is survived by her twin brother, Jay (wife Nellie) of Williamsburg, Virginia, Jay's 4 children, their spouses, and 7 grandchildren in Panama City, Panama, and numerous relatives and friends in Springfield.
Per Jay's request: Cremation will be followed by a private interment in Virginia.
May she rest in peace.
