Joseph F Ryza, 64, of Springfield, IL passed away at his home Wednesday May 4, 2022.

Joe was born in Chicago, IL on November 14, 1957 and was the son of Joseph L. and Rose Mary (Chicalace) Ryza.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, playing poker, and fishing. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a granddaughter, Katelyn Miranda, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Joe is survived by his partner, Carolyn Miller; children, Kristy (partner, Mitch) Ryza, Tracy Proksch, Joseph Proksch , Dawn (husband, Gary) Osborne, and Lawrence H. (fiancée, Jessica) Baptist IV; grandchildren, Joshua, Katie, Emily, Joseph, Jacob, Jeremy, Crystal, and Allison; sisters, Christine Ryza, Diane Gecht, Carolyn Townsend, Kathy Cooley, Cindy Ano; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and no services are being held at this time.
