Joseph "Joe" Jachino, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Joe was born on May 4, 1954, in Pana, IL, the son of Joe and Kathryn (Faggetti) Jachino.

Joe was an avid car guy and loved all things Chevy. He enjoyed hunting, building and selling engines, and attending his grandkids sporting events.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Edward Lee Hayes.

Joe is survived by his wife, Pam; two sons, Anthony (Rachel) Jachino and Joseph "JJ" Jr.; two grandchildren, Caroline and Gabriel Jachino; two nephews, Andrew and Christopher Hayes.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Wilson Park Funeral Home from 10:00AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00AM with Reverend Father Al Kemme officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
