Jonine A. Jones, (Nene/ Jo) 77, of Springfield, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on November 1st, 2019.

She departed from the comfort of her home with her daughter Dana at her side at 12:30am. She was born on April 5th, 1942 in Peoria, IL the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Betty) Brush.

She is survived by her children, Dana A. Miller of Springfield, and Dawnn M. (husband, Glenn) Hopkins of Springfield, John Cropper of Gainesville, FL, and Rodney Kirkendoll of Jacksonville, IL; sisters, Marsha Brush of Taylorville, IL, Toni (husband, Fred) Gordon of Warrensburg, IL, Cherie (husband, Don) Skowronski of Decatur, IL; and brother, Anthony Brush of Licking, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth (Betty) Brush; brother John A. Brush Jr.; and  great-granddaughter, Amber Neville

She leaves behind her cherished memories to live on through her surviving 2 great great-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation Services are being carried out by Ellinger- Kunz and Park Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 530 N. 5th St. Springfield IL 62702.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
