Jonathan M. Dobson, 29, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence.

Jonathan was born on April 6, 1988 in Springfield the son Debra (Crafton) Dobson.

He was a self-employed carpenter.  He was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved spending time with his family, listening to music and playing poker with friends and family.

He is survived by his son, Caden Dobson of Athens; mother, Debra Dobson of Springfield; sisters, Jennifer (Larry) Dobson-Coffey and Christina (fiancé Patrick Collins Sr.) Dobson both of Springfield; nieces Baylee McDaniel and Bella Dobson; and nephew, and Braxton Jon Dobson.

Cremation will be accorded.  Private services will be held.
