John Frederick Clary, 85, of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at his home.

John was born on July 2, 1935, in Milton, IL. The son of Fred and Carrie (Sides) Clary. He married Lois Rumball on February 14, 1988 and she survives. He was a Colonel in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Lieutenant for 28 years with the Springfield Police Department. John enjoyed Polka music, working in the yard, and loved spending time with his daughters and grandson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

John is survived by his wife, Lois; two daughters, Shawn (Luke) Willman and Robin (Andy) Wells; and one grandson John David Willman.

A walk through visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Rochester, IL. 62563.

Private family services will follow with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Buckhart.
