Jessie Lee Beck

ILLIOPOLIS, IL - Jessie Lee Beck, 76, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Jessie was born March 1, 1939, in Decatur, the daughter of Walter Elmer and Doris Burchett Beck.

Jessie had worked as a telephone operator and later worked at the Holiday Inn as a housekeeper. She also loved her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Russell Beck; brother, Walter; and sisters, Beverly and Doris.

Jessie is survived by two sons, Kevin (Cathy) Beck of Illiopolis and Rodney (companion, Zeintera) of Decatur; brother, Rick (Cindy) Beck of Mt. Zion; sister, Debbie Hughes of Decatur; sister-in-law, Janet Beck of Taylorville; eleven grandchildren, Josh, Wynde Jo, Justin, Jason, Jarrett, Jacob, Jagger, Tyler, Brandon, Nathan and Skyler Beck; two great-grandchildren, Mykaela and Keith Beck; and several nieces and nephews as well as her cats, Chloe and Boot.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, April 17, 2015, at Long Point Cemetery in Longpoint, Ill., with Reverend J.J. Hairston officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association .
