PLEASANT PLAINS, IL - Jerry Tenbusch, 77, of Pleasant Plains, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at his residence.

Jerry was born March 4, 1938, in Springfield, the son of John and Eva Beauchamp Tenbusch. He married Sandra Dunkel on April 19, 1975, in Pleasant Plains.

Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam. He worked as a machinist for Fiat Allis for 28 years. He was a member of Pleasant Plains Christian Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra of Pleasant Plains; two daughters, Stacey Zak of Decatur and Kelly (Eric) Hegele of Pleasant Plains; three grandchildren: Lauren, Alison and Madalyn; one sister-in-law, Lela Tenbusch of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 at the funeral home with the Rev. Duane Turley officiating.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
